lol this hand is funny, cause all the live pro’s are like “da fuq” but lex, durrrr etc just understand that doyle was representing a very polarized range on the river and it didn’t make sense for him to have a 5 except for 55, he’s representing such a thin value range and there are just so many bluffs in his range.. but guys like doyle don’t even think about this stuff they think “I thought you had AQ derrrpppp”

Just so you all know, prior to this hand lex and doyle got into a bit of a word argument … he talks about it in a interview …

Obvious fake – Durrr or Elky would never fold 93o or J5o in a straddled pot…

if u call him on the turn, u basically have to call him on the river. the river call is indeed easier since doyle is more likely to bluff/ represant a hand here than actually have the goods. i wonder if he would have called if a card like an 8 came. would also be interesting if doyle would have bet some like 27 000, or even some very small amount like 14 000, less than on the turn, classy old school value bet type stuff…
but doyle went for it.

It’s funny that every other player in the hand would have made a better hand than these two if they stayed in.

i don’t think so. He is most likely a backed player because Ive never seen him play bigger then 200/400 online and he hasn’t had any major tournament wins so its likely he couldn’t put himself in this game.

His explanation made that call indeed not that crazy (Veldhuis annoyed Doyle in the show to which they cut out saying he’s not a gambler), Veldhuis is a good player the only thing he needs to mature up and avoid doing stupid things.

– He talked about this hand afterwards, and his explanation makes a lot of sense. This kid is no joke. One of the best players currently IMO.

Which is Doyle range when limp and then call a 9k raise by this maniak of Veldhius. This range just not exist !

This call against Doyle dosent make any sense, the fact Veldhius’s right doesnt change anything! He’ll be wrong the other ten times loosing 900k !
