He is an all time poker player and WSOP champion in 1976 and 1977. Till 2010 he was awarder wit 10 bracelets and endless victories. In 2007, he won the 11th bracelet against Phil Hellmuth. He doesn’t want to quit in poker game until he doesn’t get 85 years old. In his interview he told us that if he could change anything in this world he would change his age. He is taken as a legend in the poker history.

He was born on August 10, 1933 at Texas. In his young age, he was a football and basketball champion. He started his career as a professional athlete after his MBA in administrative education. According to experts, Doyle Brunson has quick observation skills as compared to common poker players. He also has better understanding about poker hands and other mathematical concepts related to gambling. After few years, he decided to quit his job and become a professional poker player.

In 1960, he met Louise and it took him number of years to convince Louise that it is good to marry with professional gambler. Doyle was suffering from throat tumor in his early years of marriage and it was spreading eventually. Then he decided to go for a risky surgery. The surgery was the last hope for Doyle Brunson. At last, surgery was successful and he was announced as cancer free patient. It was really a shocking moment for Doyle Brunson.

After his treatment, he came to know that Louise is pregnant. Doyle Brunson has two beautiful daughters Doyla and Pamela and son Todd who is a professional poker player and playing very well in the local casinos. Doyle Brunson did not want to drop his poker journey on the way. He is still connected with the poker circuit and playing very well in tournaments and major poker events.
